After having lived in Senegal for two years, I decided to put together a travel guide with insider tips for local and international restaurants, street food, bars and nightlife, shopping, spas and beauty salons, hotels in and outside of Dakar, weekend getaways and beaches, activities and adventures, as well as cultural events and art galleries.

The proceeds of this travel guide will go to Kayam Senegal, an organization that protects women and girls who are victims of conjugal and domestic violence and provides a place to live for them. You can find more information here.
